I don't see it. Maybe someone will sneak by Lelei, but that triumvirate is ridiculously set apart.

Also look out for Anthony Rotich out of UTEP. Still, I think Kithuka crushes them all.
There aren't any Chris Derrick, Cam Levins, Diego Estrada types in this class.
Try the Olympic 10,000 meter finalists.
TV media coverage will be terrible from the teams perspective because they always keep the camera on the leaders, at least it will be better to watch four Africans competing for the win....possibity more....africans that is....some say the top 10 will possibly be all foreigners.
If Paul Chelimo is there with 400 to go I think he has got the kick.
Not that I can see
Mecheso - OSU.
So now we maybe add Paul Chelimo and Anthony Rotich into the upper echelon, which makes for Kenyans in the 1-6 position. Does anyone else find this a little disheartening?
Not opposed to having east Africans in the mix, but it's hard to root for them when they'll be gone after college. It's nice to see Americans (native or naturalized) in the hunt and then to watch them develop (or not) right under our noses.
I've been going to Nats for years now and plan to be in Louisville this year, but I recognize that I don't have the same anticipation and excitement as in previous years. Expecting Lalang and Kithuka to blow away the est of the field (sans a couple other Kenyans) by at least 30 seconds.
Missin' the homegrown (U.S. and Canada) talent big-time.
