Wow! American River put up a solid race and beat a bunch of d1 squads and almost got Chico. Were those B teams? The other schools they beat were racing their top 7(Sac State).
Where could they place at d1 regionals?

They'd prolly finish dead last since they couldn't even beat uc Davis who won't qualify for d1 nationals
so there were these races in Wisconsin and Kentucky this weekend. check to see if Stanford, Colorado, etc. ran there. then ask yourself the B team question again.
Nice results for a frosh soph team. 3 sophs and 2 freshman under 25:01. They could def make d2 nationals.
Though Colorado has some runners-academically, it's a Junior College.

let me tell you a secret: 2+2=4 at every college
Stanford, Chico, Colorado, UCLA, rested their Top-7 (Ran B Squads). Sac St, Davis, USF, Fresno, New Mexico, Santa Clara, San Marcos,Fullerton and a few others ran A squads. Solid run for ARC, especially given one of their top guys didn't finish the race.
colorado didn't "rest" anyone. they ran 10 guys at pre-nats.
stanford was at wisconsin
UCLA also sent their A squad to wisco, they weren't resting.
Their top guy seemed to have been pulled 3 miles into the race. Was in a pack of guys that ran about 2420 pace. If he finished with them they would have won the meet! Not bad for a JC team. I think the California JCs race 4 miles too so that is probably their first 8ks.
No one ran this. Those definitely aren't Chico's top boys.
Chico ran B teams for men and women.
