That's amazing range, and it will be even better, when he climbs to perhaps as high as third in the marathon. Then next year when he focuses on the track, he'll climb to maybe second or third in the 10k.
Even though Ritz hasn't lived up to all of our (colossal) expectations, when a poster here posts his numbers in comparison to other American runners (3rd at the 2 mile, 2nd at the 5K, etc.), Ritz has had a pretty successful career. I'm curious what Rupp's rank is among American bests in comparison to Ritz's. Has Rupp ran a HM? I know he has the #1 10K and has gone under 13 in the 5K....
