I swam on a D1 team for four years in college. We won our conference championships my senior year. I was not fast enough to run D1 at my college but got back into running after college. Now I have been doing a combination of road races, open water swim races and triathlons, although I am a mediocre triathlete due to the fact I am a terrible biker.
I am not impressed with your dual sporting achievements.
Can you do better?
Hot dog eating contest champion at the state fair.
Don't know if this counts but here goes, just out of HS.
82nd Airborne from 1978 to 1982 had a running team, sort of...best times: 15:01 5k - Twice, 4:29 mile, and on the longer side, LongStreet road race 2:03 something, was 21.6 miles.
PT test with 40 lbs rucksack: 2 miles in 10:10
Finished "Ranger School (1980), Airborne & Air Assault school (1978) and completed the 82nd Airborne Recon program (no longer have it I believe. It was sort of prep school for Ranger school).
2-miles in 10:10 carrying 40 lbs? No doubt you could have set the 2-mile world record without the 40 lbs.
Ran 9:24 for 2 miles and won the Golden Gloves National Championship Boxing Tournament at Welterweight in the same year. Wanted to try for the London Olympic team in boxing but broke my left hand sparring :(
Seventh grade chess champion, right here!
Don't run as fast as most of you but I finished 2011 ranked in the top 10 in the world for soft tip darts. Not doing so well this year, as I've missed a few key events with family priorities.
I have worked for a couple NHRA top fuel dragster teams.

As a newspaper reporter in 1989 in California, I wrote a story about a dude who was a footbag dude...he was full of himself over his footbag skills.
Ravens were established in 1996 so that is 17 years now, and maybe that was just off the top of the poster's head it could've actually been 16 for all we know.

I skied down from the cable car terminal on the Kleine Matterhorn in Zermatt.
The terminal is at 12,533 ft, which is about the highest level you can partake in any sport.
In the distance I could see Paul Ryan climbing the north Face of the Matterhorn.
I skied down from the top of Peak 8 in Breck, CO. 12,998 feet. DEAL WITH IT.
Not only have I climbed 40 peaks in Colorado over 14,000 but I also had to pick between my current career or being a professional skier. In addition, I catch 40 pound catfish with my bare hands. Who has me beat?

Ever hear of Major Indoor Lacrosse? Lol...D1 highest level.
Yeah... thats not a thing. theres the Major League Lacrosse (outdoor) and National Lacrosse League (indoor), but D1 is basically the highest level of real outdoor lacrosse, since the guys in the mLL have to have real jobs in addition to playing lacrosse

Richmond Stadium wrote:I think I have you beat. I played soccer at Virginia '93-'96. Won two titles.
What position?
That was a dynasty in those years.
Played mid field and defense at different times. Was never a consistent starter, but I saw a fair share of playing time, particularly senior year. It's weird hearing someone refer to your team as a dynasty. I was there for the second 2 of 4 straight and certainly did enjoy the experience. I like to think that team helped spark a decent following, at least in Virginia. The years the championship was held at Richmond Stadium regularly saw 20K+ crowds for the title game.
Tried out for Everton.

What is the most stupid running advice you've ever heard?🤣(It can be funny)
