Williams 11th.
Midd and Bowdoin 15th and 16th. Forget the order.

seekins (bowdoin) 17th

salvucci (springfield) 20th... wow
marks (tufts) 56th ouch
Why wow? He was fifth at regionals. I'd say the biggest surprise is Horowitz not being NE's top representative.
Why are the results fluctuating? Chris Lee (Williams) goes from 18th to 140th? Currently the results read:
139 Michael Ellenberger Washington U. 26:00.0
140 Chris Lee Williams 24:54.8
141 Austin O'Brien Central College 26:01.1
Solid showing from Rand.
Middlebury's score is off too... Davies isn't listed in the results and I'm pretty sure he was all American, which would drop their score about 100 points and put them 8th

Davies is not listed in results.
Middlebury is now officially listed as eighth with Davies 21st, 13th for team scoring. Very good showing for New England.
And Salvucci isn't surprising. Great day for Marsh and Cummins. Hannan has to be the most surprising, though. Up from 17th last weekend to 5th and ahead of Horowitz.
Midwest
29 = 1 4 5 9 10
New England
49 = 6 7 8 12 16
Mideast
74 = 3 15 17 19 20
Atlandtic
111 = 18 21 22 23 27
Terrible day for NYU and the Atlantic region as a whole.

We'll see who's ragging on Tufts after this weekend.
Tufts was in 4th with a mile to go, ended up 7th without an All American. I'm sorry, I didn't go to as prestigious of a school at Tufts University, can you explain to me if that was just Tufts training through the meet or did they just choke on a massive stage?

Hard to say they choked when the finished 7th. Rand had an off day but other than that they ran pretty well. Certainly not up to their potential, but I definitely would not call it choking. Tully comes up huge for Bates today, although I think he confirmed connor rose status with his inconsistency during the season.
You really trust that they were actually in 4th with a mile to go, given how much the results company screwed up the initial results?
Very impressed with Hannan, Leduc, and Salvucci. I expected Horowitz to be up in the top 5 instead of Hannan. Seekins finished about where I thought he would and Marsh is by far the most under the radar runner from NE.
He has bronchitis
Any thoughts on final regional rankings? With Tufts winning NESCACs, Midd winning Regionals, and Bates the highest finisher at Nationals, which team gets the edge?
I mean the teams were all close, but usually the way it goes is who performs at the biggest meet. If you want to look at the season overall. MIDD because they were second and first and 3rd. But if you look at Bates they were 4th, 3rd, and 1st. Tufts was 1st, 5th, and 2nd. So Midd has the most consistency but the teams were so close together the entire season there was no distinct favorite. Bates gets the nod because they managed to hold themselves together the best out of the rest of the NE teams. I don't think NE did a great job at nationals considering how talented the teams were.
I'll admit that the NE could have done better, but NE was still the second strongest region behind the Midwest. I think that is pretty good, considering that NE didn't even get 5 teams to nationals for a few years ago.
