Scratch that - blacked out on me at the bell lap.

Ok, finish was pixelated for me so I could not see the finishing time... can anyone share?
I watched the SC on my iPhone using the NBC Olympics app and the quality was fine. I was sitting in a coffee shop using their wifi.
Some commentating would be nice. If not commentating, then some better graphics that could include the runner's names and splits maybe.
Great BBC feed with Brendan Foster and Steve Cram doing commentary.

I think it could be partially due to which wifi I'm connecting into as it isnt' the strongest signal at my desk... but man, did it drain my phone battery!
I love it with no commentating. It's just like being at the meet. If they could capture the stadium announcing, that would be great, but second choice is no commentating. Sorry Ato et. al., but I don't need someone telling me who is who and what is what. I already get that.
I heard Wejo was supposed to be commentating...
Which will be the best site to watch the 1500 later today?
How did you get your vpn?

if you check the various non-NBC streaming sites there are feeds with the normal british commentators
letsrun is good at finding those, I'm sure someone would be willing to post one here
Thanks. I have a VPN so I can watch the BBC but hadn't set it up on my new computer. Just did it.
It's funny as I know everyone for years has been saying "Just show us the races live." I all week have been watching all these other races sports live and hating it without commentating.
I was like "I totally see why NBC packages it."
Click on main feed for commentary. If you click on individual events no commentary.

Right, no commentating for most of the events. This is a gift from the heavens so don't complain about it, lest they unleash Dwight Stones or some equally clueless voice on us.

Like Ryan Secrest?
On NBCOlympics.com there are two links, one says "Live", the other says "watch now". I don't remember which one, but one has no commercials and no commentators and the other has commercials and commentators. I watch the 10k yesterday by opening two streams. I watched the one with no commercials and listened to the one with commentators.
They should do that for football as this did once in the
70's.

There are two feeds!!!!!
1:47pm: T&F-Main Feed: Evening Session (Finals)
and
1:50pm: Track Feed: Women's 100m Final, more
The first one has no commentary and the second one has the great British guys who do the diamond league coverage! Pro-tip, if your Internet is fast enough have both videos up, the commercials are not synced so you can effectively watch the event commercial free by switching between the two. The commentator feed has way more commercials, so you could go full screen on the non-commentator feed but the then have the audio from the commentator feed, this allows you to avoid toggling to between the two as long as you don't mind commercials in the background (not good for the sprints as there is a slight 2 second or so delay between the two feeds).
Any feed of Eurosport with their commentators is fantastic. Their commentators are awesome.

Yes, and it is the best T&F commentary I have ever heard on TV in my life, including British and Canadian TV. It's just like being there at the meet! Enjoy it!
