Tough call, he is a pro and has a family to support. I do agree that running the NYC half did nothing to help prepare him for running the A standards in the 5 and 10.They had a plan and then he got hurt, looked good at Oxy and they thought the 10 was in the bag..."Alberto told me to just run the A standard but not faster". They took it for granted and are now in trouble. He has to hope guys like Bauhs, Braun, Vail, Olinger and Mack who are also close to the A standard go for it at the trials instead of jogging around waiting to get out kicked by Rupp and Teg. All the guys with the A have to like their chances of making the team right now.
