You might be thinking that it'd be easy to get health insurance being a super healthy elite runner, but it actually ain't that easy if you're not part of a group plan. Even something such as acne can be enough to count as a pre-existing condition, thus disallowing you from purchasing individual health insurance.
I'm so tired of this BS. I've been buying my own health insurance since 2004. In that time I've changed companies 5 times. I have a preexisting arthritic condition and skin condition. I have never had trouble buying insurance.
The guy with Crohn's disease got it right. Unless you have a severe condition, it's possible to buy health insurance even with a preexisting condition. If the states didn't enact caps on premiums, even those with severe conditions could get insurance.
The entire premise of this thread is baloney and haha YO, as usual, doesn't know what he's talking about.
