This year, our track team is competing in about 18 (that's 2/week on average) meets. Every meet, I do 4 events. Usually I run some combination of 400-3200 and the 4x8 and 4x4. As a senior this year, I want to peak at the right time: at the state meet.
(btw as a female, my times are: Easy 400m is 63, SB is 61, PR is high 58 split. Easy 800m is 2:30, SB 2:22, PR is 2:18. Easy 1600 is 5:30, SB 5:23, PR is 5:13. Easy 3200m pace is 12:30, SB & PR is 11:37.)
Is it too hard on my body to race this much? Should I hold back during races? If so, how much?
