Really cool finish! Not even the top heat but you have to love the fight. Just after the race the two guys give each other a hug. Great sportsmanship.

Bump
I've watched 1000s of race vids- best finish EVER
I expected so much better. If you like that you should go to more middle school meets. They love to dive at the line.
I don't know what you're talking about! That was awesome!

What I'm talking about is exactly what I said. If I go to five middle school meets, I'll see at least one close race where the kids don't understand that you actually lose speed in the air so they'll dive for the line, and yes both will probably do it. When I first saw the race shaping up I thought all four teams were going to go to the wire. Two guys doing a superman just doesn't curl my toes, sorry.
If I ever find myself at a MS meet, I'll look around for the guy by himself with a little mustache and a raincoat..."Really Now?"

If I ever wander from your mother's bedroom to the basement, I'll say to you, TVC19.
Just in case anyone appreciates intelligent racing.
Here is an example of a runner that almost won at the tape by diving that would have clearly been further back had he not.

Not true at all. He might have one if he had taken another step and then leaned. Seriously, it's really rudimentary physics. Why do you think you go faster when not in contact with the ground than when you have a means of propulsion? But yes, I will add in the West Virginia state meet to small time places where you can see novice runners dive at the line.

One=Won, obviously. Yes, I understand that's less than rudimentary English!

What is the most stupid running advice you've ever heard?🤣(It can be funny)
Are Asics, Saucony, and New Balance envious of Brooks, Hoka ,and On?
