What are your thoughts on this shoe compared to other light-weight marathon shoes /flats? Anybody who uses it have any comments? what do you use it for?

With 1mm elevated heel over midfoot, I wouldn't call this a racer, rather a high heel shoe. NEXT.
It's a 12mm offset. This makes it quite different from other races. This is also what makes it the PERFECT racer for me. Too many shoes have gone minimal now and finding a racer with an offset is darn near impossible. My Achilles couldn't handle a flat for a marathon, but it handles the T7 fine.
It's a pretty firm ride on the road, but on grass and most trail it feels great. I used the T6/T7 for a daily trainer for the last year or so, but have recently been doing more of my running in the Adios. When I'm in shape and can handle the reduced cushion I much prefer the T7.
If you've had Achilles/calf soreness from minimal offsets (and not just impact or overuse), then I recommend the T7.
Order .5 larger than normal size.

Sorry, I meant to write 11mm, not 1mm. Data from runningwarehouse.

Agreed. I was lucky to find the T7 racer before I even knew to pay attention to heel to forefoot ratio.
The t7 is still very light, but the built up heel allows me to not over do it on my calves. i strike midfoot with my heel touching down right away. having the extra heel there feels like it actually promotes a smoother ride for me. its like my mid foot and heel touch at the same time rather than have any tension. if i were totally a forefoot runner maybe i wouldn't need the heel.
I am looking to try out the adios now. shoebacca, are you saying the adios is a little more substantial.
I'm looking to run my next marathon in around 2:39. I'm 5'11 and weight 165. Do you think the T7 would be alright for that distance?
Do you mind telling me your weight and marathon pr?
The T6 was way better.
