I don't want to complain but my coach has us doing mobility drills, hurdle drills, core drills, agility drills, hurdle drills, etc. we spend more time on drills than running. We spend 1.5 to 2 hours on drills. I just want to go run.
Is this the norm out there? Don't get me wrong we have runners on our team (4:15 mile / 9:10 two mile) who it seems to work for but we are really good at something there is no event for.
