Ask your buddy at work this-
When did he first have sex?
I'm always amazed how parent who probably had sex at 15 can act like world is gonna end if their kid has sex at the same time.
My mother just said- don't be stupid; use protection- and if you make a mistake, you will literally be 'living with it.'
What difference does it make when he first had sex? Even if he was young, perhaps he now realizes he have waited until he was a self sufficient adult.
All you have to do is look at the number of people on welfare - uneducated teenagers/unwed mothers, the number of sexually transmitted diseases, and the fact that there are over a million abortions/year in this country to know that there are consequences for premarital sex. As a taxpayer, I find it insane that responsible citizens are forced to pay for other people's kids because they think they feel entitled to premarital sex - without facing the financial consequences should a pregnancy occur. I don't have a problem with premarital sex IF a person can support themselves and a potential child. (Men should be held equally responsible and NOT allowed to walk away.) Along with sex comes responsibility. If you aren't adult enough to take care of yourself, you have no business having sex.
