As an amusing intellectual exercise, can the OP share what he accomplished in 2008 and what he has been up to the last three years? Thanks!

Rosas were at NXN that year.
Don't know were Lukas was.
The African kid (I assume that you mean Edward Cheserek) was in Africa.
Rosa's were at NXN and were sophomores.
Lukas didn't pop onto the scene until he popped a national indoor 5000m record an hour after haile. He had freshmen eligibility at the time. (Still Counts) WTF
Thomas Porter overtrained in high-school and was an evident burnout. Poor recruiting on Stanfords end (Story for another time). He's now at UVA, albeit not a big deal.
I hope people realize that although this Foot Locker/NXN class blew, there are still people in the class of 2008 that are running well in college...

What causes you to say NXN looks better.
The median NCAA finish from your provided NXN iist is 129th place, and the Footlocker median was 118th. Looks like a bunch of overlap with the field of guys too.
yeah... individually, 2008 was probably the weakest of the NXN years (though NXN and FLN were very similar IMO in 2008/2009/2011, with only 2010 being a real advantage for either side - NXN that year).
Was teammates with Matthews. He is pretty sick with some kind of brain tumor and won't be racing for a long time.
Anyone know what happened to Springer? if i recall he had great range (in HS) from 800m to 5k; i think he doubled at his state meet (rhode island) as well. Also, what about Galebach? I know he only got 32nd at Nationals, but he was a Cross Country BEAST in Massachusetts and ran some absolutely phenomenal races. Think he had a decent two mile too. Always thought of him as a guy who'd one day do pretty good at the 10k through Marathon.
Obviously you do not know anything about Thomas Porter's training in high school to say he was over trained and nothing about his past year at UVA!
I heard Porter has been hurt.

I remember watching Galebach cramp up with 200 to go in some 2 mile he was winning handily. He tried to shuffle to the finish, but got passed on the home straight, it was one of the most painful things I've ever seen. Not sure if he ended up finishing or rolling off the track when he got passed.
So are you his high school coach or something? how do you claim to know about his training or recruiting...I can't find anything about the guy online except a couple FLN interviews.

Good thing we are riding these guys hard when they are suffering a health condition unrelated to their running careers. "you had a health problem outside your control...too bad, you suck for being better than everyone in high school!"
