No way he beats Kiprop - no farking way.
Could have got to Kiplagat though who was visibly tiring as Centro finished like a train.

Come off it great Bronze but if he's been in a better position off the bell he could have won that. I be his last lap was easily the fastest
I'm more pissed off about having mixed him up with your other runner for the prediction contest though!
Still a great result for a still impoving young runner
Or maybe if he surged really hard with everyone else he wouldn't have been able to kick as well as he did in the last 100. He didn't look like he wanted to go that early, so he moved out to make sure he wasn't boxed, and still never ran farther than the outside of lane one.

Agreed . . . just because he kicked the fastest doesn't mean he would have had the same kick if he were placed farther up when he started it.
centro was kicking hardest in the last 100 because while kiprop was pushing a 25.5 for the penultimate 200 centro - through no fault of his own - had to move back to move up. he went from 2nd to 8th while kiprop and kiplagat hammered at the front. centro is among the best in the world right now, and tonight he was a clear #3. sometimes kiprop runs like a loon and sometimes he's the best in the world. sure, centro could win a world 1500 one time out of 10 but today he ran great and got 3rd.
