What are some good spikes to use for CC? I am not opposed to using a track spike either, just need some good suggestions. Don't tell me to go try some on, I already know that. Tell me what to consider trying on.

forevers, victory xcs, kilkennys, asics dirt dogs are all good
for flat/traily courses you could try streak xcs too
I would use either the Nike Forever XC or Nike Mamba. Nothing compares to Nike, maybe adidas, but everything else is a waste of money. Stay with adidas or Nike. If you want adidas get the adidas avanti.
All three are great, here's a breakdown of each.
Nike Mamba- is made for the 3k steeple, which will work great for xc. Awesome plate, not too aggressive and it is very responsive.
Nike Forever- I think this is the best XC specific spike out there. The plate is great for grass, dirt, and some pavement. Very responsive and not too aggresive.
adidas Avanti- This was also made for the 3k Steeple. Very similiar to the Mamba, in the sense of not too aggresive, but very responsive.
Thirding the Zoom Forever XC; it's a great flat/spike for everything from road to mud
I have the brooks mach 13 XC spikes and I really like them.
Brooks Wires feel great, but I've never tried Nike and if you don't mind spending the money I'm convinced they're better
Waffle XC
Nike Forever XC's. Have worn a few different spikes, a Saucony , Nike Waffles, and Nike Victory XC's, but this year I went with the Forever XC's and they felt perfect under my feet. Comfortable, felt like I was running on air. Light yet supply the necessary support for the races. Also supportive enough to use for any workouts during the season, with the Victory XC, that was not that case.
I like wearing old muddy and dirty ones with fraying laces, cross country is about pain and the primal aspect of running, right? Plus it gives them character, spikes should never be without a few good race stories, after all they go through everything with you.
