So which is is? Greer or Hollister? I know it was Greer, so why list someone that was obviously NOT the best runner from your H.S. ? Read the question. It takes someone from the Metro League to point this out to an idiot from L. Oswego.
K. Frazier 15:22 5k as a junior. Injured as a senior.
B. Allen 15:36 as a senior.

Looks like you have a bit of reading comprehension problem and that you are the idiot. Right in the subject matter he even says the best RUNNERS from you HS, not best RUNNER. Also, if you read the OP's first post, he is asking for more than just one runner if your school happens to have more than one great runner.
Vince Draddy - 4:02.57 mile in 1979.
after that probably Blaise Rewaka - 1:50.xx and 46.xx splits in HS, 1:49 and 2:23k at Nebraska.
Iona Prep, New Rochelle NY
It says runner(s) - as in plural. And considering how much better Hollister was at XC - and how much better Greer was in the middle distances it seems to make sense to list them both....
We've had a few studs come through but the best ever was Matt Davis. Second is probably Garber or Barnes. Albeit this Gardner kid might end up with the best overall HS career.
me: 4:21, 9:28. haha yeahhh it was a small school.

What were his school records? I'd imagine theyd be hard to beat...
Off the top of my head he must have:
10k? did he race a 10k in high schoold?
5k: 13:37
3200/two mile/3000
2000m i think he set a HS record en route to a 3k record
1600/mile i believe he was 4:01
800 possibly someone else was faster, but i cant imagine he was slower than 1:53
400: 50/50 i guess. Depends on how big your school was
Is this the same Central Catholic that RUpp went to?

A good friend of mine Phoebe Wright. My first season was her senior year. She runs for Nike now 1:58.22 pr. Has a world relay record and a couple of American. NCAA champion. She was a 5:15, 2:15 runner in high school
Steven Fassino, who was 5th at SEC's in the steeple last year, went to school with me too. I think his pr is 9:05 which is solid. He was a 9:47, 4:31 guy in high school.
I am also a WNHS alumni, so yeah, Bob Kennedy.
800 has to be Taylor Morgan. Kid ran 1:52 or so a few years ago. If I remember right - Rupp only ran one 800 or so and it was like 1:57.
no one really amazing but our school record holder in the 1600, 3200, and 5k, ran 4:25.6, 9:26.7, and 15:55. Last year he ran 14:32 and ran 24:46 this year in cross.
I almost went to school with Xavier Carter (19.63 200m)... My brothers got to but redistricting/parent's divorce sent me else where.
It was pretty amazing seeing him destroy everyone in the 100-400m events
Our school's distance running output is rather pathetic really.
Best person was Scott Jenkins. You might be familiar with who he lost to in the Wisconsin State XC championships, who was Tim Hacker.
Anoka (MN) H.S: Mark Nenow 10,000 meter record. (Class of 1975 ?) And a 2:12 marathon. Steve Hoag 2:11 Marathon, 2nd at Boston, 1975 (Class of 1965) Anoka is a city of about 18,000
Bruce Bickford...13:13 5K...not bad in HS either, a 9:09 indoor 2-mile against Alberto Salazar. Our HS high jump record was also 6'10'', not bad for a tiny town in Maine...
