why does seeing him in a hospital bed have anything to do with liking him?

Easy, he's committed to orEGOn.
Dude crashed a bicycle, why would that make me like him?
Ben Roethlisberger crashed a bike and endured an even more manly injury and I didn't become a fan of him either.
Ben Roethlisberger also rapes women. That could possibly be part of the reason you or anyone else don't like him
The guy can't break fourteen for a 5k, and you think he could go top 5 at NC's?

The dude looks likes he's doing great. With his drive and focus, and his certain strong training base, I believe this guy will run with the best in the NCAA XC this fall, and despite being a freshman, can place in the Top 5 -10 at the Div 1 Champs. Good luck Lukas. Good Photo Dude.
Arcade Fire Sucks, Sorry, just got to be honest.
Why is this a thread? This is so homoerotic...
[commence flaming lispy accent] "oh look at the cute lil boy smiling in the teal night gown, i think i'll post that on letsrun. what a fabulous spirit he must have, with that smile and those cuts, ouch. i totally wouldnt be smiling. i'd be like someone get me some ben and jerrys and greys anatomy while i sulk for week." I am so upset that I've even spent the time to respond.
I've got no problem with LV and hope he does his part to continue the great distance running tradition at Oregon.
That said, I'm a little peeved that Austin Mudd was nearly as good as LV as a prep runner but gets scant attention in the running community. Mudd will be great at Wisco.

Probably because Mudd didn't break the 2-Mile Record, didn't win Footlocker twice, didn't win the NXN-Footlocker Double, didn't win 3 events at NBIN, doesn't hold the national record in the indoor 5k, and didn't break 4 minutes in the mile...
What on earth makes him nearly as good as LV as a prep runner?????
because he's faster than me
That's the problem with our sports popularity. We can't accept and enjoy his amazing abilities, we just think about how we're not like that

There's no question that LV had more sustained success and a greater number of significant wins. I have no problem conceding those facts. I guess I was looking more at Mudd's performances as he peaked in late May and June. No way could LV have beaten Mudd in an 800, and I don't think LV beating Mudd in a 1500 would have a foregone conclusion either.
Perhaps LV deserves more props, but Mudd deserves more props than he's getting.
Lukas ran sub 4 for a full mile in sub-immaculate weather... what gives you the idea that he couldn't beat Austin Mudd in a 1500?
am i the only one who sees the resemblance here?

Dude, he lost his frigg'n left leg! That's quite a bike crash...
Bikes are dangerous and can end your life and running career quickly....
My name is Lukas
I live on the second floor
I live upstairs from you
Yes I think you've seen me before
If you hear something late at night
Some kind of trouble. some kind of fight
Just don't ask me what it was
Just don't ask me what it was
Just don't ask me what it was
I think it's because I'm clumsy
I try not to talk too loud
Maybe it's because I'm crazy
I try not to act too proud
They only hit until you cry
After that you don't ask why
You just don't argue anymore
You just don't argue anymore
You just don't argue anymore
Yes I think I'm okay
I walked into the door again
Well, if you ask that's what I'll say
And it's not your business anyway
I guess I'd like to be alone
With nothing broken, nothing thrown
Just don't ask me how I am [X3]
My name is Luka

Ya, he could break 14 for the 5k. He ran 14:06 indoors during his triple victory this winter. He was going to go after Galens record, but due to his triathlon plan decided to only go for the 2 mile record and a sub 4. Just because he hasn't doesn't mean he can't.
Mudd will develop into an exceptional college runner due to great teammates an great coaching at Wisconsin. V may be tapped out.
You're a month late to reply to this thread. Why would you search for this to just post that?
