Does anyone know what it's like to train and race in other country’s. I have found it's really not affordable for us to race, or train, with other elite athletes. I only know of a few places for kids with out a lot of money to train and race. The University Of Chicago track club does something for free to encourage running, weekly track meets for free. I think that's great. The costs of camps prevents us from joining them. How many good runners are not being seen or developed because of lack of opportunity? Based on what I know kids can't be sponsored because of college eligibility issues. I think this is a problem for some kids that might have some great running potential. Why don't more coaches do more for the love of the sport instead of for money? Good job UCTC, unfortunately it is still to far for us, but I know you do a lot for closer kids................................
