I'd call it a workout.
Depends on what you're trying to get out of it. Is it late season for you? Are you trying to increase your tolerance under anaerobic conditions? If so, give yourself full recovery. I don't see much point in only 5 seconds.
i'd just call it a 1600
might as well just keep running for 1600m
