Closing in on 3 years....I give him an A-. Things aren't great, but he inherited the previous administration's horrible mess.

F went from a mess to a socialist disaster
He's been dealing with a hostile opposing party who is desperate in seeking political relevance and has gone to the extreme to try to reestablish itself. There is little he could have done to fix the economy considering the structural problems the world currently faces and the uncertainty therein. The US cannot fix Greece's debt problems, it couldn't stop the tsunami in Japan, or slow emerging markets to keep them from overheating. There is little it can do correct the housing market--deleveraging takes time if you want it to be orderly and with little collateral damage.
Still, Obama has made some big mistakes. The health care bill at least should have removed the deduction employers get from providing coverage. The stimulus should have had less tax cuts and more money to fund infrastructure repair and construction. Military spending and activity should be greatly reduced. Dodd Frank probably should not have been enacted. The SPR should not have been opened. So I give him a B/B+.
F? really? You just hate peace and lack of corruption?
This year is blowing up on him - if he lets this debt cap thing blow up he will very quickly become a D president.
But given the freedom revolutions around the world, zero terrorist attacks on the US, reducing commitments in Iraq and Afghanistan, a very strong stock market..
C+.
If jobs get better and there is some kind of deal on entitlements, he can quickly become a B+
But he has to start knocking heads - for Pelosi to get out in front of the cameras and say that the dems will not agree to entitlement reform...that is obscene. Entitlements are the biggest problem the country faces. Obama should invite her in and yell at her for an hour.
FAIL. Obama is a confirmed MASS murderer. Obama is anti-human rights, and anti-civil rights.

I still think it's really funny that he got the Nobel Peace Prize. I still can't wrap my head around it.
If he can get something major passed in the debt ceiling discussions in terms of making entitlements sustainable, that alone makes him a B+ president.
Bullshit. He can't say he's inherited this mess anymore. This is Obama's mess. He had overwhelming majorities in BOTH houses but even many in his party know that true Americans will never support his socialist agenda.
More inflation, higher unemployment, Higher gas prices, food is more costly, higher debt, fewer jobs created and still the stupidity of the youth vote that brought him into office proves the lack of character to admit, maybe there was a mistake made in hiting someone for a job that he is showing every day to be under-qualified for.
D for the economic fiasco.
A for killing Osama and others.
B for changing his mind on civil trials in the US for terrorists.
B- for staying the course in Iraq/Afghanistan (the only reason for no A is he told our enemies our strategy, who does that?
F on transparency in his administration.
Funny, the only high marks he gets is doing what Bush did but the intellectual dishonesty (and lack of patriotism) is democrats hindered Bush in his war efforts and the republicans praised Obama for killing the enemy.
With low numbers and many saying the worst is yet to come, there will be no second term.
Since it is difficult to imagine ANYONE doing a worse job than Obama, it has to be an F. However, it isn't like this surprises most small/medium business owners. Unfortunately, he has been the nightmare many people feared. Zero business experience, no foreign policy experience, and the most liberal voting record in the Senate.
As far as the above poster who thought more money should have gone to fund infrastructure repair and construction. Why? Didn't you hear Obama laughing when he stated that all those shovel ready projects weren't as shovel ready as we thought? Why throw even more money at something Obama himself stated they were clueless about?
Nearly 3 years?
It's closer to 2 than 3.
I am going to have to give you an F in math.
Maybe a D- since he is approaching the 2 1/2 year mark.
All things considered...a solid B. he's done great with the mess created from 2001-2004 and he wasnt afraid to sacrifice his political capital to get things done.

What the f**k has he got done? A lot of golfing and world trip????????!!!!!!!!!!!
You get a D in grammar.
C-, claimed so much in his election bid, and has barely done any of it. So far he has OBL counting for him, an economy just as bad as he got, and he reneges on half his promises. Accusations of creating a socialist country appear more realistic than when originally stated.
Worst President of all time.
It may be expensive to repair our water supply, but what is the cost of having dirty water or no water? What is the cost of cars taking damage because of poorly maintained roads? What is the cost of traffic jams that prevent you from getting to work on time or steal your leisure time? What is the cost of flight delays and cancellations? Shovel ready or not, there are plenty of construction projects that need to be done that will enhance our productivity and quality of life.

It's officially official. A man on the internets just said so.
actually the economy is WAY better than when he came into office...DOW is at 12,500 today...was sub 10K (9800)
and here is a list (albeit outdated) of some of his accomplishments....
(1) the stock market is not the economy. in fact, there is a complete disconnect between what the stock market is doing (grinding up) and what the economy is doing (grinding down). congratulations on falling for that fallacy just like the bernanke and obama would like you to.
(2) the article you linked to is almost a year old and some of the "accomplishments" are hysterical. here are a few gems:
"Relaxed Anti-American tensions throughout the world" huh?
"Signed order to close the prisoner “torture camp” at Guantanamo Bay" yeah right.
"Has made the environment a national priority, and a primary source for job creation" the zilch in jobs created may be problematic here.
"Has made education a national priority by putting emphasis and money behind new ideas like charter schools" um, no. charter schools are done at the state and local level.
"Renewed dialogue with NATO and other allies and partners on strategic issues." i wasn't aware that we weren't speaking with the likes of the Uk, france or germany.
"Closed offshore tax safe havens" is that why the trillions of dollars US companies currently have abroad have not been brought back?
"Families of fallen soldiers have expenses" wtf?
"Provided attractive tax write-offs for those who buy hybrid automobiles" this is a repeat of #10.
"Improved relations with Iran" very funny.

What's worse than f? That's what he deserves. And yes he inherited a mess, but a mess made by him, Clinton and the rest of his incompetent party. Clinton and the loony left started the housing bubble. Bush is they one that got stuck with it. Along with $150 a barrel oil and over $4 gas becaus the whole economy was based on a lie of housing strength. Oil and gas went along for the ride. I love how you losers try to revise history. That's why you continue to blame Bush. You think if you tell the same lie enough times, some fool might actually believe it. Wrong! Obama is a failure. The democrats are failures and every loony leftist including you is a failure. You all get the worst marks available.
