Actually, gaseous (diatomic) oxygen, O2, doesn't react with water -- it dissolves in it, which is why the assclowns who sell this product are able to do so. If this were not the case, much of the world would be one large vat of H2O2 thanks to O2 in the atmosphere reacting with the water in oceans, lakes and rivers. At least our cuts would feel OK after we jumped into any body of "water."
