1. What's your event?
2. What's your longest solo/single run?
Me: 800
Run: 23 miles (once in high school, once post college, both times just having fun enjoying the running of it...)
For an 800 meter runner, 23 miles is a good long run.
Still, I can't even imagine that extra 3+ to make a marathon.
I think some of us are just born more suited to the longer stuff.
As fit as I ever was...2 a days for 4 years, free weights twice a week...
I still can't imagine an Ironman.
If I was suited for it, I think it would have been a major endorphin buzzfest.

Event: 5k
30 in 3:38:40 miles freshman year of college during track season. 3 other guys said they were going to do it with me but they stopped at 20 miles. Averaged 7:10ish pace for the first 25 then died to some high 7s and low 8s. -
Some people would say that I was "running" in all my 50km walks--if true, then 31.07 miles was my longest run.
Otherwise: I was a natural half-miler, but ended up doing everything from 440 to marathon--ran 23-24 miles of the latter, I suppose.
But as far as a relatively continuous run, I topped out at a couple of 20 milers. Well, plus a 2h40m easy run that might have been closer to 22... -
80 km, but it was in a 100 km race I couldn't finish.

event: 5k/10k
Longest run: 29 miles - got lost on a trail marathon -
1500/5000, 24 miles.

Ran a marathon before my freshman year of high school. I did it on 20mpw training, and it ruined that season of xc. Oh well, at least I've finised one.

Cool site here. Never seen it before...
Some marathons and half marathons and 23-24 mile tempos in 3 hours. Just finished up one now actually. 23.07 miles in 3:00:00.19 All on grass barefoot. I'm crazy for my age. -
100 miles, a few times, 100K once, and many 30-40 mile runs.
I was an mediocre HS runner (800/1600) and didn't run in college. In high school the farthest I ran was 34 miles, and several 20 milers. -
Event: 800
Once ran 2 hours and 20 minutes after getting lost in a state park. First 10 miles were at a good pace but then the wheels started to come off and the last couple miles had to be around 9min pace. -
I ran 31 miles in 3:57 for absolutely no reason. I was going to run 20 miles that day but I felt so good after 20 I kept going. not a single stop, no nutrition, no water, nothing... 31 non-stop and until the last 5 miles, it was one of the most relaxing runs I've ever done.

I was peeing copper. Pissed on some pennies and you couldn't tell where the pennies ended and my pee began. Wild. -
36.2 miles. Training for a 50 miler ultra, I used a small local marathon to be a jackass and run right through the finish shoot and keep going. I tacked on a 10-miler.
At the time I thought it was funny. Looking back, I must have looked like a douche. -
^ chute != shoot
I know that, not sure why I wrote that. -
Event - 1500M
Longest run - ran around Lake Geneva in Wisconsin in my teenage days. Can anyone confirm the actual distance (I vaguely recall running around 7 minute miles most of the way, with the last two miles clocking in around 10 minutes as we wanted to make a reservation at a steak house). My guess is it was 23 or 24 I ran nearly as long when in college when a 27:50 ish min 10k guy I used to train with and I got lost. It was somewhere around 22 miles. -
Event: Hobyjogger (3k to marathon)
Longest run: marathon
Longest training session: 20 miles -

My longest run outside of a race was 32 miles and I didn't drink anything while I did it. I don't recall my pee looking any different than normal afterwards but it's not exactly something I was really into checking. Anyway, aside from that I ran a 50 mile race once. -
26.2 miles, not in a marathon race. But, got lost on vacation. Easy run in 3 hours.

I'm primarily a 10k runner.
