As expected a minimal week of "training".
Mon. Our planned 4 day 3 night wild camping/hiking was cancelled by Parks Vic. due to storm damage along those tracks. We set up in the main campground and set off on a hilly 10 km dayhike minus packs.
Also did a 3 km mostly soft sand hike.
Tue. Wild weather kept our hike to just 7 kms. I squeezed in a 4 km jog and we also did a sunset 2.5 km hike in improved weather.
Wed. A good hilly 15 km hike with about 700 m of elevation gain.
Finished the day with a brisk hilly 5 km hike.
Thu. I did a 4 km hilly hike/jog at sunrise. 2 short hikes on our way home.
Fri. My usual 3ish km 160 metres up and down hike but I jogged a few sections.
32 hilly forest kms on the mtn bike.
Sat. I did my usual hike course and an extra hill but ran it all (pretty slowly) 4 km 220 metres gained.
Flew to Tasmania.
Sun. 9 km run on hilly bike trails from Snug Beach in Tassie about 50 mins.
I don't see a lot of training happening this week either as we will be scooting about Tassie til late thursday.
