I've trained consistently through the indoor season: beginning on Nov 7 through District champs on May 19th. How would a 400m runner maintain fitness over the stint between outdoor and a summer track program off towards June 20th. I'm a freshman, 6'0 150lbs and I've learned over the course of that hard workouts don't automatically = prs. So I don't know if I want to go out and do those odd/tough workouts I've been itching to do if it'll contradict some mystical biomechanical process coach has developed with his training plan. If it's worth anything, the reg. training schedule looks a bit like this: a hard interval session Monday and Wednesday. An easy Friday. Tuesday and Thursday could be longer sessions like hills and overspeed or cross-training.
