Nike Streak XC 2 actually for xc? what do you use?

I used them for xc. They were amazing. I never got to use spikes because I had to run a mile in dirt (dessert like area) and there was some pavement throughout the course but theyre super light. I still use them for road races and even daily runs (minimalist runner :P) and they're amazing in my opinion. The right shoe for you will really depend on the course you run. If it's all grass, you can try an xc spike, like the zoom victory xc...if not, then try out different shoes!

I love them for the roads, but wouldn't wear them on grass. I slipped going around corners on wet pavement; I'd say they're great for dry, stable ground but that's it.

I use them for mostly xc races that have too much pathment too wear spikes on, or road races. On real xc courses, like homedel and sunken medow, i usually wear track spikes. So, the streak xc 2s work for cross country, but are really more of a road racing shoe. If you were planning on getting them for xc, spikes work much better.

Would you guys consider forever xc 2 or streak xc 2 superior? Since a lot of the xc courses are muddy that I'll end up running I think I'll just go with the forevers. I have hyperspeed 4s for training, so I don't need a pair of shoes to do road races with anyhow

get the forever 2 spikes. they feel great on xc courses. I'd leave the streak xc2s for the road

I hear the forever XC 3s are coming out this summer. Also if you choose the streak XC 2s, a new version is also coming out (streak XC 3s).

Do you know if there's any differences besides in the upper? If so I might as well just save $30 and buy the 2s.

So I'm for sure going with spikes now. Would you guys recommend the forevers or victory xcs? It seems the victories are a good deal lighter. But perhaps the forevers are more durable and probably more comfortable and supportive. Please share experiences

I would use them for dirt races, I think they work well for that, heck, I used them trail running. But, for the grass they really are not good.

Personal preference really. The forevers seem like a better spike for a mudfest course but overall I'd pick the Vic XCs.

I use Streak XC 2s as trainers, great shoe for the roads and trails. Okay on wet grass and can't comment on mud.

I have used the streaks in xc. If a course is mostly grass or wet you're probably better off with spikes, but the streaks still work well, just don't have as much traction as a spike obviously. I actually prefer them to spikes on many courses.
