Serious question. I am a non talented ex fat slob who can now run 6 min/mile pace for a few miles and I have always had some admiration for real fast runners. When I look at the shoes they wear, I don't see any 'Stability' type of shoes, like my 2160s.
Also, most of the fast people I know are all neutral, or forefoot runners, hence can wear what they want. My overpronation is mild, so a podiatrist said I could run in any neutral, light shoe with orthotics for instance, which I am not keen on doing.
Who here overpronates and is more than a hobby jogger? List some indicative PR and normal training shoe (I want to see some 2150s or Kayanos in the mix!).
Looks like nature made overpronator slow, by design, as a way to tell them it's not the right sport for them (hence: hobby)
