Thank you for your concern. There are many things in life that are uncertain and if I were to allow fear to run my life, it would be pretty boring and lonely.
It's so funny that people here assume any one person's life is like yours because we frequent the same place (letsrun). Am I only a runner just because I'm reading this message board? Do you know if I'm around working cattle, hog hunting, running drugs, a multi-millionaire, a prostitute, a boy scout, computer nerd, car salesman, or just a family man looking for a good dog that will protect my wife and kids while I'm not around?
Take off the blinders people, we are all different. I am responsible for my actions and also for my dog's actions. If everyone else were to do the same, our society would be much better off.
When I curl up at night with my family and dogs (I also have an American Bulldog, Boxer and a Heeler/Pit mix along with the Presa), I am happy! Hopefully you are happy when you curl up at night with whatever it is you love so much. Maybe it's nothing, and that's o.k. too!
