    $50 for first place overall with a 20:30 5K, last year. It was the first time the race was held and they were hoping people would show up, they didn't mention the money part beforehand at all. I was out of shape and just hoping to finish without walking. 1st out of 200 runners.

    This year they had over 500 runners, and 5th place was in the 17s.

    I won $200 this past wknd as first female with an 18:51, not exactly slow but I thought for sure the cash prize ($200, $100, $50) would bring some 17 min girls and there is one local girl I know of in the 16s. Male winner was 14:5x.
