finish line carnage
More than a few guys flopping around like dying fish.
Trying to post screenshots of race but LR wont' let me :(
as per letsrun SOP, this site crashes whenever we need it most!
full results anywhere yet? I don't understand how they can have team scores, hand out trophies, but no full results.
Full results? I would be happy just knowing the top 5 individuals and teams. There is nothing about anything anywhere!
Stanford falters (Heath not in top-25), while FSU steps up big-time. Ducks 3rd and 10th, Wisco three guys top-20. Sambu and Puskedra run big ones, PAC 10 guys 5 out of top-10, with three Cowboys also in top-10.
Dave Smith looks like a wizard at this point.

SEELYVILLE, Ind. — With three All-Americans at the NCAA men's cross country meet Monday, the University of Wisconsin was able to overcome a stunning collapse by Elliot Krause and finish in third place in the team race.
Krause had been part of a tightly packed quartet for the Badgers, who were sitting in second place with 3 kilometers left in the 10K race, behind only defending champion Oklahoma State.
But he pulled up with an unspecified ailment down the homestretch and was forced to walk to the finish line, falling out of scoring position for UW.
He collapsed 15 yards past the tape and remained down for several minutes before being carried to a vehicle and driven off for medical treatment.
Yet on the weight of superb showings by Mohammed Ahmed, Maverick Darling and Landon Peacock, Wisconsin was able to record a four-notch jump from its disappointing seventh-place showing in 2009.

these girls are d1 and they keep running across the line flopping. This is shameful.
Well I guess the men are shameful too because they had at least an equal if not highter percentage of "floppers" and a couple who fell down and got right back up before crossing the line you sexist pig!!!!
Does anyone know why Kathy Kroeger did not race?

I'm sure there may have been exceptions here and there, but I've seen enough races of all levels to expect it. Indeed, most meet directors plan for it- I've worked some meets as a favor to coaching friends, and the issue of how to keep the women's chute functioning is always discussed. As to why the gender difference, no idea, but it's real.
the women are collapsing because their ovaries are falling out. This race is much too long for a woman to handle.
Yep I guess a large percentage of the men developed ovaries and opted for gender reassignment as they were taking dirt dives all over the place...idiots.

PAC-10 5 in the top 10, but still only 5 in the top 40...
with a good race from McNeill, NAU makes the podium instead of 9th

With a full strength Ryan Sheridan in the race, Iona makes the podium.
Without having Krause collapse, Wisconsin is 2nd instead of 3rd.
If AJ Acosta ran with Mercado, which he has done most of the year, Oregon is 3rd instead of 6th.
Anyway, What the hell happened to McNeill. Was he interviewed? Anyone know anything?
Old age?
