POD!
Uh huh. Wrong answer.
A bear can swim up to 6 miles an hour. That is 10 minutes a mile. The world record for human people is 14:34 for just a single 1500m.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/World_record_progression_1500_metres_freestyleBear, FTW!!
A 800-lb grizzly bear (30-35 mph) can outrun Usain Bolt (23 mph). A bear can outswim any human for length or speed.

Bears(minus polar) actually hate getting their ears wet.

Maybe in the water it would be better to be attacked by both the bear and the shark. With both animals in the same place at the same time, there is a chance that they will fight each other as well. If it turns into a three way fight and the shark and bear do enough damage to each other, maybe you'll have a chance to escape with your life.
C) None of the above.

Exactly what I was going to say. I'm almost never in an environment in which a shark could be an effective predator, so generally, I'd go with the shark.
To be fair it would fcuk you up in your ice bath

False; Black Bear
I don't know what would hurt the most but unless you can teach a shark to walk, It will be a bear that attacks me.

I realize bears are good swimmers compared to humans but they are lousy swimmers compared to sharks. I'd still take my chance with the bear in the water.
I forgot about the possibility of the Landshark.
i would rather be attacked by a bear, that seems like more of a noble death, atleast you could go down fighting
a shark on the other hand, hell naw, i don't want to die like some dumb fish at the mouth of another dumb fish
Bears can climb faster than they can run
You tell me. Would you like to die like this?
