Your point about pacing is very accurate. I think he would do better...when full prepared, at Berlin or Rotterdam, but I don't think the money is there for him. He is really good at locking into a pace. I thought he and Al were going to change the 2 marathons a year cycle but sounds like they are going to go right back at another one in the spring. He should have never ran this race other than for the money. Now he has to take time off, recover, start up again, get injured, take time off, start up again etc. I'm not a hater but other than that great few months in 2009 he really doesn't seem to have changed much going from Hudson to Salazar. Teg was having problems and Jerry shut him down for the year, I would have thought Salazar would have done the same with Ritz or have him run some of the faster road races around the world at various distances.
