Florida, I would definitely head down to the campus and check it out before sending your daughter there. I know a couple of girls there on the team and they aren't very happy with their decisions to go there. The coaching is weak at best and many of the runners that have gone there were high school state champions in florida and have never gotten any better. The campus is lackluster at best and not visually appealing whatsoever. I personally like to be on a campus that is scenic(i.e. UF or FSU, both great schools with great running programs). You're daughter depending on her ability could definitely walk on at any of the two larger schools I mentioned, start out at the bottom, and work her way up while improving all the way. I personally at one point looked at USF and the coach there told me I wasn't good enough to run for his team. Didn't bother me however because I went to one of the larger schools I mentioned and ended upo running minutes faster than any of the kids on his team. Funny how life works. Best of luck to your daughter in her college decision making! Tell her to keep in mind that when it comes to running it's better to be a small fish in a big pond and work your way to the top!
