Why is the homepage saying the 3:38 is a PB for Acosta? Even if the results show it as a PB, he ran a pretty well publicized 3:36 the week before.

When I raced-toured Europe etc., it happened all the time.

BTW, a this meet their were massive no shows or dns's, some races appear to have had non full fields...

Which happens at almost EVERY non GL/DL level meet.

Good race for Acosta. He beat Emanuel by 2 1/2 seconds making him the early favorite for next year's NCAA 1500.

I am impressed by Acosta's consistent races.

actually his agent probably knew what he was doing, entering athletes in races to give them multiple options is quite common.
