None of this should be construed as me saying he sucks or his coach is doing anything wrong, but how much he has left on the table...
His reaction was good, but in the first 10 meters the guy in the lane next to him pulled ahead. This is often a lack of strength, but can be not staying low enough and driving hard.
He gets it going after 10, but doesn't really pull ahead until after he gets up. He may gain something by coming up a bit sooner and getting those legs extended. Compare Bolt getting up earlier in Berlin vs. Beijing.
I don't see full (triple) extension on footstrike at top speed. Slight sitting, as with Asafa before this year. This may be another aspect of the strength effect with Christophe.
There is a LOT left on the table for his coach to work on.
