I recently got the A4s with very little heel (almost flat) and they are pounding my calves to the point I feel like I strain them (no spring--flat tires). I wear them for all track days and tempo runs of 4-5 miles. I used to wear Adidas adizero pro (the red and gold ones) with no problems.
How should I ease into the A4s to avoid the calve problems? Is it beneficial to work my calves in these low heel shoes or go back to the adizeros?
