So...it's summertime. That means XC training for me. I'm going to be a freshman in college, and my coach has me doing little to no speed workouts until August (just strides). That's fine with me. I've done tempos in the past, but whatever.
The real question I have is: Do I need to take "recovery" days? I normally run at around 6:40 pace, which is probably too fast to "recover" but since I'm not doing any workouts, do I have anything to recover from? Am I fine just running a little faster than "easy" every day?
