I have been accepted for the USATF Level 2 Certification. Does anyone know what I should expect? Has anyone done it already?

You should expect a big mess and some unexperienced instructors since all the people who used to run the show resigned 6 months ago.
Wow, Thanks. Um...why did everyone resign?
Here is the thread that describes most of the reasons,

.
From what I understand, the throws and combined coaches are still the normal ones, but the other event areas will not be.
What event group are you in?
Did anyone purchase the Human Kinetic book they sent the email out about. The author of the book is one of the instructors. Sketchy.
They don't have it at Borders or Barnes and Noble and it takes 2-4 weeks to arrive on Amazon. Anyone order the book from Human Kinetics? How long did it take?
The throws instructors are the same but the multi-event groups instructors are not. Not at all. The entire multi-event group staff resigned (Rock, Sefcick, Mario). Everyone from sprints and jumps resigned too. Almost everyone from endurance resigned. Half the sport science staff resigned. Everyone involved was highly respected for there commitment to the program. Now the thing is going to be done by a bunch of rookies with no teaching experience or coaching expertise.
As for the book, that guy who wrote it is one of the big reasons Coaches Ed fell apart. He's a huge kiss ass that maneuvered himself in to teaching.
Went to Level 2 a few years back. It didn't make me a better coach and didn't directly advance my career, even though I had good instructors and met some solid people there.
Don't waste your money on the required reading list. You don't need those books at all. Evrything pertinent is in the manual that you get on site. I've scarcely touched most of the books I bought in advance of my course.
Make sure your liver is in good shape before you go. You will be able to give it a workout during your time at Level 2.
