basically, if you've run 1:47 or better, or 3:42 or better, yo0u should have contacted gags by now. lotsa fast gals too, don't know who's handling that one. think they're looking at sub 340's in the 1500 and sub 146 for the 8's. going to be worth the drive if yur anywhere in the area that saturday.
Looks like the meet is being timed by Flash Results West:

They list the meet on the left column under the Big West Conference, but there is no link with further details about the event
It is pretty hard to believe that the USATF is putting together THE ELITE mid-distance race of the year for our top mid distance runners, yet they aren't making any effort to advertise or promote the event.
Hopefully, there will be a few people in the stands to cheer on these athletes as they go for super fast times
You're gonna see a great 800m field for sure! Just from hearing conversations, Jacob Hernandez, Duane Solomon, Tyler Mulder, KD, and a whole grip of OTC guys. The mile is gonna be loaded as well, supposedly Lopez Lamong, Will Leer, Manzano, etc. Definately a great race to see, it is too bad that it isn't getting much publicity, but perhaps that is a good thing to drop good times without the media all around.
Is Terry Crawford the MFIC at USATF HP ? Opps, she's a woman, i meant, is Terry Crawford the WIC at USATF HP ?
Alysia Johnson ? Maggey Vessey ? Alice Schmidt ? Fleshman ? Lambie ? Sara Babe ?
? Rowbury
? Willard
? Wurth
? Donohue
? Barringer
Gee, I thought "tracktown" was the center of the Universe. How come they're all (still) coming to LA to run fast?
If Hayward was so great, why is USATF HP setting up the race at a D3 institution in LA?
Cuz Obama the 18 year old preppy nerd from (Japanese dominated) Hawaii learned the streets at Occidental College.
whatever, doesn't matter who's kicking the pooch on thsi one, just get yer butt to oxy on the 22nd, details will be posted before the meet as to exactly what time but can't be late, there's only 4 races slated to be run but i'll garuantee that it'll be worth your time to come watch.
Dude, then please get the MFIC to report, Twit, or blog to us wtf is happening (Dixon Farmer ?, Terry Crawford ?). Or wouldn't Joe Douglas, Joaquim Cruz have people running there ?

Because Oxy has a magic track.

Correct.
but why no info anywhere about this meet? why the lack of publicity?
USATF HP has an L.A. Clique of hundreds of elite athletes and coaches who live in the Los Angeles Basin.
Here are the current entries:
Here is a link to the results on race day:

come one come all, we have room for at least 25 spectators....athletes will need to sit on the football field in the middle of the track.

Probably so the coaches and town can catch their breath between about 4-5 meets with over 5000 fans and the sell out crowds at NCAA's and PRE classic.
It honestly benefits your cause more to just keep your tail between your legs. Eugene is undeniably track town and I don't live near there. The rest of the U.S. is where other people train to compete for the biggest meets in Track Town.
