I don't know that it's necessarily "nuts"... the chances of her winning all 3 are obviously quite slim, but to attempt it wouldn't be that crazy ?

Anders Crabo (So) and Brian Gillis (Sr) of Pomona-Pitzer go 1-2 at SCIAC Championships in the steeple in 9:05 and 9:07.xx, number 1 and 3 times in the nation so far...
1 Najem, Peter Keene State 3:51.56 10
1 Najem, Peter Keene State 1:53.37 10
Gino Bisceglia of Cortland runs a 46.7 split in cortland\'s 3:14.20 4x4 yesterday
Guarino ran 1:51.26 for 800m on saturday by himself.
Najem will win the 1500m. My roommate told me he ran 54.x on his last 400m at DIIINE's. Hope there's a vid of that. I've seen this guy race a lot of 8's over the past few years, and he's good (top 3 type stuff in the 800, if he sits out the 1500m)-- but he has a kick to win any 3:54-type 1500m race.
Calling it.
way to give out his strategy at nationals... now those other guys know not to let it be a sit and kick race... if he loses it is all your fault now!
hope you feel real good about yourself
Anyone have predictions for sunyacs?
Geneseo has a lot of depth right now in the distance events, Buff state is pulling their own weight in the sprints, and Cortland looks solid in field events with some key individuals in multiple events, should turn out to be a great meet

2. Guarino Fredonia

guys trying to double in the 5k n 10k like some of the geneseo runners, i predict they will not go 1,2,3 when heymann and williams are running it as well, should be a close sunyac between suny G and cortland
Doctor Crabo in the steep is fo sho.
You must be from Brockport its obvious. Only fool would predict against the national champ.
Yeah I wasn't sure who was in what, I thought Heymann would run the 5k. I don't think it will be that close between Cortland and Geneseo. Cortland doesn't have people doubling like Geneseo, looks like they don't care if they win or not.
seeds are out. one or two heats of the 5k?
Is this thread about actual predictions, or of everyone merely toting their hometown hero?Your roommate needs to get his watch checked. I have a video of the race and the last 400m for the top 3 was a 57.0-57.5 spread. The last 200m for Najem was 26 high, 2nd place 27 flat, third place 27 mid/high. The difference for the top 3 was also 0.36 seconds at the finish. The last 800m for the top 3 was 1:58.0-6.Regardless, I think he has as good chance, but even the runner up from 2008 and 2009 lost somehow despite running a 3:44 later in the season, and a 3:47 at USATF nationals with a 57 last 400m.
