I did this for NB for a while. It's definitely legit. It's a lot of fun, but you have to take it seriously or they'll dump you. Somehow, I got off the rotation at NB when they went digital, but I tested 8-10 pairs of shoes (including racers) and also a few clothing items.
It's a pretty sweet deal if you can get in on it. I'm a tester for Nike and on pair number 10 or so right now. You do have to have a pretty average size foot though. Like a 10.
will age affect getting chosen? I'd be interested in doing this but i can imagine that being 14 might be a problem.
