Hardly a surprise, given the time it takes some MIAC runners to graduate.

Reveal yourself, impostor!
Well there's good news for St. Mary's this year. I guess Tom Sederquist from Concordia is taking the year off from college competition to retain a fifth year.

what's the word from the st.olaf races?
Results are up on Olaf's website. Krajsa wins, Ruon 2nd, Eckstrom 3rd, Haglund 4th, Sathre 5th. Johnnies top MIAC team without Noack and Franta. Not a good day for Olaf.
For those of you that are probably as lazy as me here are the links to the results:

don't know if anyone should get too excited about yesterdays race. Olaf didn't have Lambert where he would normally be, and I'm sure all teams have been battling illness. Things could end up completely different at conference.
It's going to be a fight to the death between the johnnies, the tommies and the oles. There were missing and underperforming runners on all three teams, but the johnnies probably have the most to gain from there missing guys.
Now that is some profound insight!
SJU has to be considered the favorite at this point after being the top MIAC team last weekend without Noack, Moynihan, and Franta running. It'll be interesting though.

Oh yes? Where is it that he woudl "normally be?" Weren't you Ole's saying the same thing last year. Point me in the direction of any xc results that suggest he should be one of their top runners.
Good point about Lambert and any abnormal or even missing performances. I don't think there is a clear favorite. I think three teams clearly have a shot to win. And maybe a 4th team could pull things together and surprise us all.

2 from last cc season. He was fairly up and down, but 25:48 at nationals certainly suggests that he's a capable of being on the top end of olaf's squad.

I'd have to agree, they've had a few guys come out of the woodwork. But it's a long ways till halloween.

Too bad the the Wizard of Bethel graduated before Conference landed on a halloween!
Sure, he's capable of being a top 3 runner for Olaf. He's also capable of being their 8th. Olaf is capable of winning and their capable of placing 5th.
