Not sure what your vendetta against NB being made in the US is, but a little research might help you sound a bit more credible.
http://www.newbalance.com/USAThe 993 starts in ME as a sheet of leather and is completely made in the factory in Skowhegan. Some of the other shoes, like the NBx series of performance trainers, are assembled in the US of parts obtained in various places.
In either case, there are US workers touching shoes that no one else in the industry employs. I think they should be applauded for this, not berrated. 25% of shoes made in the US is a lot more than 0%
