Ritz's 15k split 44:54 (61 seconds behind leaders)
Yeah, this guy is hilarious. "Let's see...they're somewhere between this street and that street, really some amazing running here...if we can just get an idea of the time...at some point we'll get a time check and that will give us an idea of just what is happening here..."
doesn't Todd Williams own American 15K record - anyone know time?
42:22
that's 2:06 pace for Ritz, by the way
What does 44:51 for 15 project to? 2:06 high?

I think Wanjiru's intention here is to win. And he knows the only way to get rid of all these studs is to go Beijing'08 style where the likes of Tsegaye were at least four minutes behind him. I bet most of these guys in the lead group are not going to finish or will fall of the pace badly. Wanjiru could run the world record here and the rest be locked out in 2:05 and below. But the likely scenerio is he is going to do 2:05 and faster than the course record and the rest will do 2:06 high. I think Tadesse made a wrong decision to run his debut here with such crazy guys. It will be a bad memory for him...

Which is 2:02:30 pace. Still fairly crazy.
Pace projects a 2:02 high. It's getting a little slower. But hell, it's still crazy fast.
