No Rupp or GF? Snoozefest!
I'm calling a last second entry for Rupp and Fernandez.
Looking forward to seeing Solinsky in the 800, Ulrey in the 5000, and Bolata in the 10000.
where is eagon?
There are so few pros entered in this meet, and most of them look to be doing off-distances. This is not Cardinal, for sure. Cardinal is when we'll see all the big guns coming out and Rupp and GF probably gonig for fast times. Well...either at Cardinal or Mt. SAC.
btw no german should be expected with world cross 3/28.
sara hall in the steeplechase????
There's also this meet at Cal that the NYRR are setting up that should be hella fast.

There is also a meet at San Fransisco State that is being set up same day as Stanford for those guys who didn't get into Stanford or coaches didn't want to wait around to beg to get into races. Rabbit going 14:10 5k pace and a bunch of steeplers entered between 8:55 and 9:10. Conditions are usually ideal even in the afternoon here!
what do you want to see solinsky do in the 800m? yeah it might be a little bit funny, a big guy running fast on the first 400m. thats about it.
whatever happened to his first australian outdoor season this year? injury?
And EVAN JAGER in the 1500 (or 800).
Of course, in the 800, Solinsky won't look SO out of place as he usually does in a 5k.
benninger in the 10000? has he ever run one before?
and who are these team finland guys?
Just think it'll be interesting to see what Solinsky runs in the 8. If he even runs it I guess.
why is aj acosta listed as unattached in the 1500?
German has Worlds.
Rupp said in his Flotrack interview following NCAAs that he peaked for the meet. He was gonna take a week off from training, then get back into it, wasn't planning to race again for at least a month.
Oregon also had Acosta run unattached for the first part of the Indoors before they decided to make him eligible as He was coming off some injury problems. Perhaps they are thinking of red-shirting him for the outdoors? Maybe keeping their options open?
Barnicle transferred to New Mexico? Man, I'm out of it...
Colin Sahlman runs 1:45 and Nico Young runs 1:47 in the 800m tonight at the Desert Heat Classic
