Anybody ever feel stressed from sitting in the nosebleed seats at a basketball arena? I guess because of the lack of available land in downtown Sacramento, the upper seats at Golden One are built at a steep angle. It felt as if a force was trying to pull me to my death. After a beer, though, I calmed down, but my 11-year old son didn't relax until halftime.
I gave up skiing when I started running, but I never had a problem with the lifts. In regard to some of the advice given in this thread, a phobia will always kick logic's ass.
