My check's in the mail.
Hey Hudzik, where in Westchester are you? I'm from there too.

Briarcliff Manor. How about you? I just ran in Rockefeller, although the snow is starting to get a little bit deep for running.
What are the chances of setting up an on-line fund where people can use their credit cards from the comfort of their home, like so many Americans love to do?
This is a great cause and I just thought it would be nice to try and collect funds in whatever way possible.
Hopefully everything turns out alright for her and the Kipligat family.
Here's a thought: all those that accepted a free copy of Rubio's middle distance guide send a minimum donation of $20 - I think that alone would get us at least half way there.
Kudos to malmo for taking the gloves off here: my donation's in the mail as the last thing I want at my front door is an angry Aggie ;)
Trust me - you don't either...

I didn't get a copy of Rubio's middle distance guide but I'll send $20.
can you send cash in the mail? Or no?
FYI: I called Wachovia to send money over phone by credit card but no dice. No matter. It just takes a minute to fill out the check and pop it in the mail.
Our check is in the mail.
To echo the thoughts of so many who've already posted - let's give Richard and his family the greatest gift of all this holiday season.
Richard, you and your sister are in our thoughts and prayers.
Chris and Shawn Lear

you can, there's a chance it will be stolen by a postal worker I guess...get someone to write you a check - money orders are usually less than a buck.
thanks malmo for the pep talk, you won't have to visit me either.
you are all so awesome. I know you college students don't have a lot to give away - bless you.
I'll send a small check on Monday. I figure I owe it to the kid for trashing Iona in my poll...
Goof
2nd question - will they take 3rd party checks? lol.
Check is in the mail. For those of you who have not given and can, please do so. If it were your relative, I am sure you would love to have some kindness from other runners too.
My checks in the mail. I just hope his dad isn't the Nigerian banker that keeps emailing me.
I think that I was pulled in, after reading the article about Richard, by his character. Even if I wasn't a runner I'd want to help this guy and his family. Didn't want to wait until Monday, so my checks in the mail.
Ditto - by mailing today it means it gets done!
This is once again proving that the runners of America are a great bunch of people.
Is there a deadline to help out...so if I go to the bank on monday it still helps?
Check is on its way - I hope it all turns out well!
Monday is fine.
Hey Tyler, Richard, whoever is reading this. In Ireland getting ready to race. Amazing what the internet can be used for. Just wanna keep this thread at the top of the pile. Looks like things are going well with this. Richard and his family are in my prayers....i'll get some money together from people over here if i can. all the best. vinny.
