I signed up for a XC marathon. The course is mostly grass fields and dirt trails. It is not an ultramarathon bouldering course.
Would you recommend wearing XC flats with spikes for this?
Some factors to consider when giving me advice.
I have never worn XC flats with spikes before. I am only a 2:50ish marathoner but would like to do a similar type time at this marathon.
How much faster would I be in spikes versus just regular flats?
