we've have lots of flooding and high waters lately. Waterworks park will be most likely under water.
it broke down.
why don't you go wipe that dick off your forehead
there is something to be said about the man with dicks on the forehead.
I seem to remember from a previous thread a Jim Squalls or Qualls or something who was moving to DesMoines. Maybe he can tell you where to run.
Des Moines is a dreadful place. The best way to see it is traveling at a high rate of speed on I-80 on the way to anywhere else.
Hopefully you won't have the misfortune of staying at the Embassy Suites. After you hack your way through the chlorine fumes in the atrium generated by the faux water falls, you are treated to room decorated like the set of the Johnny Carson show circa 1972.
The river stinks and the resturants are terrible.
Have fun!
Relative to the stadium your best bet might be the waveland cemetery. It's large, grassy, and empty of any (living) people. Just head west on Forest Ave until 48th street, and north a block to get in. If for some unholy reason you end up on Kingman Ave, you might want to kill yourself to avoid the boredom. You wouldn't be the first, as I know a lot of runners have killed their careers there.
If you break down on the I-80 out of Des Moines I will be more than happy to tow you to the nearest transmission specialist.
Greys Lake is good. About 2 miles around and a lake perfectly shaped for pleasure boatin'.
Yeah, you could jog around Grays lake, but forget about getting the record, no one's gonna touch that baby for years.
Don't worry, I'd push it to get away as soon as possible. Thanks for the offer though.
i don't understand the hate for Des Moines. just because you had a bad experience when you went to living history farms for a 5th grade field trip doesn't mean the rest of the city sucks.
what runners ruined their careers running on Kingman? its just a shade under 2miles in length with a 10ft elev. change, yet you make it out to be something grueling. feel free to run down it if you want to see some houses or you just enjoy boulevards and or want to get to some other streets.
If you can take a crap then you can do my exercises. Can you take a crap?
shut up. i take craps standing up.
Anyone end up running in this shithole? or am i the only one who had to swim their workouts. man this town sucks.

Hicham El Guerrouj is back baby! Runs Community Mile in Oxford
What is the most stupid running advice you've ever heard?🤣(It can be funny)
Are Asics, Saucony, and New Balance envious of Brooks, Hoka ,and On?
