I find myself depressed about 80 percent of the time because I usually never am running at where I want to be and/or are injured.
Does anyone else find this to be a pretty depressing sport most of the time?

I'm pretty depressed from it now that I've hit a point where I have put in a ton of time training but have constantly deproved over the last 2 years.

To get out of this negative frame of ming ou should join a local running club where the motivation will come back from other team members and of course your coach- he will devise a recovery plan and hopefully you will see a return to your original enthusiasm for this tough, demanding sport that requires discipline and committment to succeed- start thinking positive and do something about your current state of mind/running- Good luck and never give in man!
